The Silicon Bench promise
A £20 deposit covers diagnosis on any device, and same-day jobs like a battery swap don't take one at all. It comes off your final bill. If I can't fix it, you get the deposit back and pay nothing. Change your mind after a successful diagnosis and I still refund it, unless tracing the fault took real work, which I'll tell you before it gets that far. Then a fixed price before anything starts, and warranty on every repair and part I fit.**
** Warranty length depends on the repair. It doesn't cover physical damage, and faults on water-damaged or power-fault devices can resurface later. I'll tell you the cover on your job before you commit.

Based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire — call-outs within 30 miles.
Further out, post a phone or laptop in from anywhere in the UK and I'll repair and return it tracked and insured. Software jobs can often be done by secure remote session, same day.
